Do I have to pick locations?
No. Every location syncs by default, and you can narrow the list later if some should be left out.

No. Every permission Dear CFO requests from Square is read-only, and disconnecting revokes access on Square’s side.
Does it work with a Square sandbox?
Yes. Sandbox data is labelled so it is never mistaken for real sales.
