What you can do

What Salesforce data does inside Dear CFO

Opportunities next to revenue

Opportunities, line items and history beside booked revenue, so the forecast and the pipeline stop disagreeing.

Your custom objects too

Pick any custom objects to sync. Custom fields come across with every record.

Activity that explains the numbers

Tasks, events and campaigns sit in the same place as the results they were meant to drive.

What syncs

What Dear CFO reads from Salesforce

Salesforce datasets
  • Users
  • Accounts
  • Contacts
  • Leads
  • Opportunities
  • Opportunity line items
  • Opportunity history
  • Opportunity contact roles
  • Campaigns
  • Tasks
  • Events
  • Products
  • Price book entries

Plus any custom objects you choose. Each sync reads only what changed, and deleted records are caught.

In full, Dear CFO copies accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities and their line items and history, campaigns, tasks, events, products, price books and users, plus any custom objects you choose. Contacts, leads and users include names, email addresses, phone numbers, job titles and locations, and we copy every field the connected Salesforce user can read, custom fields included, so the exact fields depend on how you have configured Salesforce. How it is stored and protected is in our privacy policy.

How to connect

Every table becomes a dataset you can use in reports, metrics, dashboards and the AI analyst, next to your accounting.

Questions

Salesforce and Dear CFO

Why does an admin need to install something first?

Salesforce only lets an org sign in to an app that has been installed in it. It is a one-time install per org.

Will syncing use up our Salesforce API limit?

Syncs read only what changed, and a sync waits if your org has already used most of its daily API allowance.

Can I connect a sandbox?

Yes. Choose Sandbox before signing in. The sandbox needs its own one-time install.
